So, We were gone again for Christmas, our fish have become good at surviving off their poop. They went a whole week not being fed while we were in GA, and then another 5 days while we in Darien Center for Christmas and when we got home I thought for sure they would be floating belly up but they were still swimming around happy as larks! Tough buggers. So do fish eat their own poop?
So anyway. The missus sent me a meme a while back that was to take a picture of my self and post it, and I wanted to play nice with my friends this time, but I can't find the cord to my camera to up load pictures. We had it after the GA trip and I could have sworn I took it to my parents house for Christmas, but I can't locate it. My mom claims its not at her abode, and I can't find it here at our house. So as soon as I find it I will play along! Until then you will have to wait in suspence to see what I might look like on any given day!

My kids just got fish for Christmas and we have been watching the catfish eat the guppies poop this evening.
Freshwater fish are all algae eaters, they just eat whatever grows in the tank... or poop. I stopped paying attention to our 30 gal for a year when we got tired of having fish and fewer fish died in that year than when I was paying attention to them. Tough little buggers, those guys.
