so first up, I tried my darnedest to start my microwave on fire this week. Don't try and make Chex Mix in the microwave. Just stick to the original recipe. Nuf Said, K!?
Second, Cameron got to spend this week w/ my parents and Uncle Benny! and who does he get his swear words from?
No not Papa (surprisingly)
No not Uncle Benny (Very surprisingly)
NANNY! (should have known)
So I've been told the story goes like this:
Nanny and Papa in the kitchen discussing some health insurance matter. Nanny is starting to get aggravated w/ health insurance companies use of verbiage in the letter that was sent states to Papa:"Are you shittin me?"
Cameron comes from the back room and asks:
"Papa!... are you shittin Nanny?"
Nanny and Papa "That's 3 Take a break" Small pictures have BIG EARS you know!
so we are also heading out on our very first Daniels Family Camping Adventure (DFCA) . we could come up w/ a very catchy acronym for that (The first thing that comes to my mind though is: Dumb F***ers Camping Association I'm sorry that's just wrong). Aaannnywho, I'm really excited about going. The kids are jazzed up and I have made our list of preparations and checked it twice so I think we will survive for 3 days and 2 nights in the wilds of Chenango County, NY!
New pics are from our week at Rushford Lake, NY the boys got to drive the boat! How exciting! They are such Scurvy Naives! We're on a pirate kick lately! AAARRRRR!
We live life; sometimes it's interesting

They just keep coming.....
After taking the kids to Rough-N-Tumble today (check link) we were on our way home and Cameron had been acting seriously goofy and Hayden had about enough of it and this is how the conversation goes:
H: Cam, I need to talk to you.
C: speaking gibberish and non-sense (which absolutely pisses Hayden off, which is Cam's whole goal in life right now)
H: Cam, I need to talk to you.
C: continuing to speak gibberish and non-sense
H: Cameron, I need to talk to you!
C: (just as calm and collected as he could be) OK Hayden. What's your problem?
Hayden states something insignificant asserting his type A personality and Cameron fires back with : What's your deal?

Spoonman
I have been told that I need to get back on the blog wagon. sorry people, I just don't have it in me of late. But here are a few funny ones for you.
We have been enjoying our return to story time at the library. We haven't been in quite a while, and it finally dawned on me that we needed to start going again. So I picked up the schedule of special events for the summer. It includes the Spoonman tomorrow, icecream social next week, the bubbleman the weekafter and finally the Utica Zoo mobile the last week of July.
I was telling Hayden that we could go and see the spoonman at the library on wednesday afternoon, if he would like, and that it sounded like fun. His response:
"is he gonna spank me? I don't want him to spank me."
Poor kid. I promise he doesn't get spanked that often.
Cameron's funny of the week:
after spilling something he steps back and looks at the mess and states:
"Good gaybee."
Translation: Good gravy
