Breastfeeding escapades

Why, after having 2 boys that were world champions at breastfeeding, am I having such a hard time with this little girl. First we started off with a bad latch, the was temporarily fixed, a couple days ago she went back to her old ways and I couldn't seem to fix it, and I started to become very sore and raw again, yesterday I developed this hard mass in my left breast, my breast just ached all the time and god forbid if you touch it, I thought I might pass out. I couldn't bare to have her nurse so I ended up just pumping from that side. After doing some reading, I realized that I had developed Mastitus! I Called the Dr. and explained my symptoms and she confirmed that that is probably what it was so she called me in a prescription and during the night it went away! How weird is that...Its still a little tender but nothing like yesterday, anyway thought i needed to share that with everyone.

Brian's mom and dad are here, and surprisingly it hasn't been all that bad. his dad still has the annoying habit of complaining about EVERYTHING, but i try to take deep breaths and focus on the positive things.

You know I love to talk about the weather, so I have to tell you that we got 5 inches of snow last night. Its the really wet sticky kind of snow, it sticks to every little branch and twig and it is so beautiful, its my favorite kind of snow!!!!! I just wish we got it 2 months ago and not when its almost APRIL!!! Anyway, I can't complain I did voluntarily move from the south back to the frozen tundra!

I have tons of pictures to up load on to the computer so as soon as I get that process done I will put some new ones on the blog!

Its snowing AGAIN!

Hey I can't believe this its supposed to be SPRING! Its 37 degrees out and it is snowing...to add to things my In-laws arrive tonight at 11:30...they will be here a week then my father-in-law leaves and my mother-in-law is staying for another week!

Up date on Bria.n's job...he also has a part time job at University at Buffalo, he talked to his boss their and they said that there is another job coming open at the end of the month...just Pray that brian is able to take that job and he can quit working for the crack pot! gotta go, my mom just walked in the door!

Wow What a week!

Oh my gosh, what a week, We thought we were out of a job. Brian's boss has lost his mind, we think he has lost all his money. he has bounced our last 3 paychecks. thank god we had a savings account to cover our butts. What makes this all that much more frustrating is that Brian's boss has some kind of permanent laryngitides and he can't talk so all communication has to be through e-mail or text messages. He is now 2 pay periods behind on paying us and instead of sending money, he has been sending e-mails trying to justify why he has been sending us bad checks. So now he has cut Brian's salary in half. So keep us in your prayers it has been pretty stressful around her the last couple days!

The boys are so funny with Bailey, Hayden is absolutely in love with her and Cameron isn't quite so sure. At first his comment was "go away" but now he likes to kiss her on the head and then give her a quick jab as he tries to climb into my lap. He is quite the little stinker and we really have to keep our eyes on him!

Hey Well we made it and she was the easiest baby in the world to deliver, she literally fell out! i the Dr didn't even make it for the birth! She was 6.5 lbs and 19 1/2" long, I can't write much else, please keep us in your prayers, Breastfeeding isn't goin well she doesn't latch on well and so their for I am very sore and raw...

I'm still here

Hey all, well its saturday and the snow has been falling all day long, we have probably gotten 13 inches or more depending on where you are. I have been having contractions all day today too...about 4 o'clock I thought I might be heading to the hospital, but then about 4:30 or 5 the contractions subsided and now I am only have like 2-3 an hour! Maybe tomorrow! Anyway gotta run, Keep prayin!

Oh Happy Day!!!

Hey, I am so excited, I went to the Dr. on Thursday and I have dilated to 1 cm. I have been having contractions all day today (nothing time able) but definitely producing something. We are having a horrible snow storm that started this afternoon, we already got probably close to 5 inches and we are supposed to get another 6-7 tomorrow. I just hope I don't go into labor tonight or tomorrow, I'm sure I won't! But as the Dr. said I have left the terminal and am now on the runway! YEA!!!!!

Hey guess what? I finally figured out how to put pictures on here! I couldn't get my other computer to work, so I finally figured out how to temporally put them on Brian's work computer!

I just love WNY Weather

Well we are at it again! It was A beautiful day yesterday, it got up to 61 the boys and I were outside for a couple hours (it was still windy so it kinda put a damper on being outside) but it melted all the snow. And guess what today we woke up to a dusting of snow and it is 30 and that is the high for the day! We are supposed to be under a winter storm warning till sometime tomorrow. Rain, snow, sleet, and Ice all in one day! OH happy day!

I'm Gonna be an Aunt!!!!!

I am so excited I just found out that I am going to be an Aunt! Brian's sister just found out that she is pregnant! She is about 5 weeks along, her and I calculated it up and figure that she is due in October some time! Keep her in your prayers, she just switched jobs and has taken a huge pay cut and her insurance doesn't go into effect till April 1st, so she can't go for her first prenatal visit till April 2nd.

OH HAPPY DAY!!!

Oh my gosh!! No I'm not in labor....Hayden made a huge break through!!!! He actually went #2 on the pot!!!!!!!! After 4 consecutive days of going in his underwear, I am so excited! and He actually told me that he had to go!

Snow Snow and more snow!!!

Well we didn't get to go for pancakes, we got socked with snow. I guess we really didn't get that much snow, but the wind was blowing so hard that you couldn't hardly see. We ended up getting pizza and wings and staying in. Oh well, its supposed to be in the 50's by Tuesday. but then be back down in the 20's and 30's for the next week or so. this is the time of year that I miss NC. you guys are probably outside enjoying mostly warm days by now. Oh well, ours is coming soon...

ug, I am so uncomfortable, I don't think I have anymore room in my stomach for this baby to grow anymore. Only 17 days now!!! Maybe she will decide to come this week! I HOPE SO! gotta run

Day 3 was a nightmare

well, yesterday was a nightmare and I put him back in his diaper. I had to take a shower, you know because I only get to do that like 2X's a week, while in the shower he pooped in his underwear, peed and then when I got out of the shower and found that lovely number and cleaned that up, he runs and pees on his bedroom floor! I could have screamed! I guess doing this when you are 38 weeks pregnant is not a good idea. i just don't have the energy or patience to deal with it right now. But today, Brian is home and he got the boys up so I could sleep a little longer and hayden told him he wanted his Underwear on. So brian has been on top of him about goin on the pot and he has done pretty good so far. we will see.....

please pray for me to go into labor asap...I don't want to wait 18 more days, I pelvis hurts so bad i am not sleeping at night, i swear it is broken. My arms are going numb when I sleep or anytime really but mostly when I sleep, so that makes sleeping even more miserable. I am sick of looking fat and my face looks horrible. (I know I don't look as bad as I did when I was pregnant with Hayden, but my general weight gain since brian and I got married is over 50lbs. Anyway enough pitty party, I am very thankful to have 2 very healthy and happy boys and I pray that I will have a happy healthy girl too! Hope you have a great day, we are going for pancakes tonight (that should help the self-esteem :) )
