Read We're home first before you read this post!
So saturday when we get done with the aquarium we get back in the van and drive 3 hours back to nanny and papa's. Sunday before church we do Christmas! The kids got great toys! and then off to Great Grandma's to visit her (after church)

all in all we had a great time, but it sure did feel good to be home! and we came home just in time. Because a snow storm hit Friday and we got 8 inches of snow, and then last night we got another 6! and its still snowing and blowing!
Monday Gwen and I took the boys to Tyson Steel. This guy is a gazillionaire! and goes hunting all over the world. He isn't satisfied with just mounting a head on the well so he stuffs the whole animal!
Pretty fricken awesome huh! this dude has a full adult giraffe! moose, grizzly bear, rhino, caribou, elk, black bear and cubs, fish, look at the walls in the back ground! and Elephant head! It was amazing and another reminder at how Gods creativity is endless.
and last but not least just having fun playing out side!
Were Home!
So you might have noticed that I haven't posted in a week! We took a little trip this past week to Ga to visit Brian parents. We had a great time (no really we had a great time)
here are the boys on the plane as we depart Buffalo! On Thursday the 11th. We arrive at Nanny and Papa's around noon.

Friday morning up EARLY and in the rental van and off we go (4 1/2 hrs) to N. GA for Aunt Serina and (now) Uncle Zach's Wedding! The kids got to meet there cousin Savannah Grace! She is absolutely adorable. The wedding was beautiful and we all had a great time!

Ok, So Saturday morning we get up (not so early this time) and drive 1 1/2 hours to Atlanta to the Georgia Aquarium! I can't say enough for this place, and I couldn't take enough pictures, but it was Amazing and well worth nanny's hard earned money, thanks nanny!

This aquarium along was as big as a football feild, w/3 Whale-Sharks! I could have stood there all day!

Santa You haven't met Peer Hoondyke, let me introduce you!
So we had to go see Santa when he came to town this weekend. Hayden was about to jump out of his skin to see him, damn that long line we had to wait in. Cameron, was less than thrilled to be there, but was being a good sport about the whole thing, along with daddy.
So finally came our turn, Hayden runs up first, and tells Santa he would like the "First Gift of Christmas!" and Santa's little elf helper slips a bell in his pocket! (we rigged that up) but he was so excited! Then he told Santa that he wanted a Candy Cane which the elf was giving to all the kids. He was pretty pshyced!
then it was Camerons turn, He a slight look of horor in his face. But the man playing Santa was really good and coxed him over, and to my suprise Cameron agreed to sit on his knee. Then he spoke....I didn't here what he said and neither did Santa, so I Had to come in closer for a better listen, "Tell Santa what you said."
"Me, Peer Hoondyke."
I died laughing and Santa was left scratching his head! he was very confused. How do you explain to poor Santa that my 2 year old has an alter-ego.
stay tuned for a picture of Peer and Santa

don't run in the house
This is not my child! but thought you all could use this as point of reference...this is probably complete blogger taboo, but this was a forwarded e-mail I got today...
NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE !!!!!!!!
How many times have we been told...
and have told our children...
NOT to run in the house?
Did we always listen?
Do they listen?
Not always.
Sometimes our seemingly futile efforts fail,
and 'boo-boo's' happen.
Here is a little guy who didn't listen,
and he got his own souvenir scars.Perhaps he'll learn from his mistake. Maybe....

Doesn't look too bad.
But perhaps he should keep this next photo handy
to explain the way it happened!.......

OOOHHHHH!!!
That's GOTTA hurt!!!! (pic taken in the emergency room)
Maybe this picture should
be on your refrigerator for
your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews
and DAYCARE

dinosaurs have penises and guys drink beer
so Hayden has show-and-tell on tuesdays. His teacher tells me today that his show-and-tell the last two times has been very entertaining. Last week he took his T-Rex and told the class very mater-a-factly that "This is a boy t-Rex and he has a penis." And today he wanted to take a matchbox car that is painted to look like the number 9 dodge ram racing car. Well he calls it his "beer racin car" and today he told his class "this is my beer race car. Guys drink beer."
