This is gonna Be a 2 post day, "Giving Credit where Credit is due"

So, I was thinking (where I think best: the comode) And I realized that I need to do a better job of being quick to share how God has blessed us. So let me tell you a tale of how God can and does make everything work out.

1) THE MOVE, there were so many factors that had to come together for us to beable to move there is no way that it was just coincidence.
a. we found a place that was bigger and cheaper
b. we had to get out of our lease
c. we either needed to pay $3000 to Land lord #1 or find a couple to take over our lease
d. the dates all had to match up for everyone involved

2. DETAILS WORKED THROUGH
a. Bigger and cheaper place needed desperate TLC which costs $$$$$
1. Was Blessed to make over $170 in tips the night that we ran out of the paint that the landlord provided and were told that we would have to buy the rest of the paint.
2. Cost of extra paint. $170.00 Including tax (No coincidence people)
3. Landlord #2 refuses to replace all the carpeting in the place (that desperately needs it).
4. cost of extra carpeting $765 and change.
5. Landlord #1 informed us that we would get our deposit ($1000) and 1/2 months rend ($500) back. CARPETING PAID FOR!
b. Landlord #2 Calls us and tells us that he has a couple that is looking for a place to live they would like to move ASAP and he does not have a place open, thinks they might be interested in the house we were living in.
c. Couple come and looks at house, love it and and want to take it. Will need to move in the following weekend.
d. Aunt Noreen and Mike G., Ryan and Meg, are avaliable and able to help Paint our new place. We are able to get help from my parents and Aunt Amy and Uncle Mike and move in in time to give Landlord #1 time to come from over and hour away and check the house out and give the new couple time to get settled and get kids signed up for school. the timing ended up being perfect.

one more little detail that was Amazing, The weather warmed up for the 3 days that we moved boxes. it was in the low 40's warmest days we have had since November. The day after we finished moving boxes, the temps dropped back into the 20's and it started snowing again!

GOD IS GREAT, LIKE A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE CAKE! he's better than chocolate cake, i just love saying that! Hope you all can find some details in your life that God has worked out for you.

Workin Shoes

Cameron Eli Come Back Here was walking around in a pair of handmedown black loafers. They are about 3 sizes to big for him, so he really does Loaf around in them. He is all into wearing this baseball cap that is about the size of a gallon jug, and he insists on pushing it down on his head so far that is squishes his ears downandout. (Ill post a pic when I find the battery charger to the camera).

So he's loafing around the living room with his getup on and he stops and looks at me and says

"I got mine workin shoes on, Mommy, I'm going to work, Bye!"*

He turns and waves and goes on his way with his bag of blocks over his shoulder.

*His daddy wears Tennis shoes to work everyday, I wonder what he thinks Brian does?

SNOWING!

I'm ready for the snow to stop already. Although it is beautiful and I love it best when it sticks to every little twig and tree branch. BUT, I'm really getting tired of the bundling, and whining about boots, and the protests of "its to cold mommy!" and WIND, and cold.

I'm ready for shorts and flipflops and t-shirts, and fun in the yard, and gardening. I'm ready for summer. I'm ready for beautiful flowers, and parades, and picnics, and swimming, and SunTANS (lord knows i need one). I'm ready for eating out side on the picnic table (we don't have one but if we did we would eat out at the picnic table). I'm ready for windows being open and light breezes blowing. I'm ready for trees w/ leaves and lawn chairs and tricycles. I'm ready for lawn mowing (I love mowing lawn, people think I'm crazy, Right Babe?, but I love it) I'm ready for creek walking and throwing stones in the water and feeding the ducks at the lake. And Camping, I want to take the kids camping this summer for a couple nights.

The Barn where more people live than animals

So, we are officially moved in to our new barnduplexapartmenthouse. I will get out of the house soon and take some pictures of the outside of the place. I have been a little pre-occupied with un packing and living out of the living room for the last week. Yes thats right we have all been camping on the living room floor since last tuesday while we waited on the carpet guys to come. They were supposed to be here yesterday, but through unforseen surcumstances were unable to make it. So we camped for one more night on the livingroom floor. They showed up bright and early at 9:30 this morning and have been NON stop since. They are doing the piss stained hallway and stairway, along with the master bedroom and Bailey's room. We ripped out the carpet in the other two rooms and are paying out of our own pockets to have Lowes replace them. I have learned that our "Slum" can't smell, so he was unable to smell the cat pee and human pee that saturated the carpet in the other two rooms that as he put it "were vacuumed really well" alrightythen.

Moving on to bigger and brighter things.

So I really love this place, we are going to have a great yard once the weather breaks, we are getting more snow today, like about an inch so far. Our main living space is all one big room. I have never lived in a house that the kitchen, LR, DR one space, its really nice. I find that I keep my kitchen cleaner that I have in the past. maybe because I don't feel disconnected from the rest of the family while they are playing or watching TV. I also really like the "mall" that is right across the street. We are right across from the Hubbardsville Mall, People you don't know what that means. That is huge. In the mall you will find, Sue, Jane or Diane! They are the nicest ladies, along with a gambit of grocery items, pretty much any last minute item that you might need, and most importantly the PostOffice. all 50-75 PO Boxes are housed in the Hubbardsville Mall. You can get your mail, order Pizza and Wings, get some bread, milk cereal, and lunch meat all the the same prices you would pay if you drove in to the big town of Hamilton. This store used to be a Gulf station waybackintheday. Sue just recently bought the store from a family member and is continuing to carry on the lively hood of the entire "Hubbard" of Hubbardsville.
