The Run Down...

So its been a while since I posted about the goings on of our house in general. So I thought I would fill you in. Starting from the bottom and working up...

Bailey: has discovered she can scream. and I mean scream!!! Scream cause she's happy. Scream cause she's mad, Scream cause she's excited, scream cause it sounds cool in her own little head. It makes my ears bleed and scolding her just makes her scream and cry! Her big baby blue well up with tears and she lets out these wales that would peel the wall paper off the walls. I think she is also cutting some teeth (finally) the bottom middle of her gums are very swollen and she is constantly chewing on something, fingers, toys, passy's.

Cameron: his favorite color is ORANGE. He is full of spit and vinegar. His new thing is to jab you in the neck w/ his fingers. He's trying to tickle you but it feels like he's trying to skewer your Adam's apple. He also feels its his job to scold Bailey for screaming. Which we had a discussion about and I informed him that scolding her was my job. He very abruptly told me that it was in fact his job to do so. he also informed me last night that he wants a BIG bed like Hayden. He is still in his crib. They share a room and right now it is the only way I have of keeping him contained.

Hayden: His favorite color is which ever is darkest out the whatever he is looking at. He started back at school today. I had a good day so far. I mean HE had a good day back to school. He was very excited about his show-&-tell he took his new dinosaur. Whatever one looks like a bird, Pterodactyl? Anyway, he is very much in love with playing out in the snow, movies and Curious George. Uncle Ben got Hayden ice skates for Christmas. Because for the months leading up to Christmas that was all he talked about Santa bringing him ICE SKATES. So, We forced him to put them on Sunday and go skating. See pictures. He insisted that he didn't like it but after a lady brought us an orange traffic cone to use he took to it like a fish to water. He was laughing and smiling and wanted to make sure Cameron and Daddy were watching him. but then after we made our first and only lap around the rink and I told him he could be done if he wanted to be. He said he wanted to be done and then started crying and getting mad at him for making him go. He also was on the verge of falling asleep when I got him in the van and drove him over to the rink. Oh well, he's already been signed up for lessons starting at the end of the month. We promised him that after that if he still doesn't like it that he doesn't have to do it anymore.

Me: I am currently suffering with some aches and pains. I was fighting a bladder infection pretty much the entire month of Dec. and during the week of Christmas I would say that it stopped. Well now the last couple days I have been getting this pain in my lower left side around my kidney. Well today it has gotten progressively worse as the day has gone by and I don't have a PCP. So i called the family practitioner in town and hopefully I can get an appointment w/ her asap. Other than that, I have been looking out for the lady that lives across the street from us. I thought her and her husband had gone south for the winter because a car has been missing from there driveway, turns out he left her after 47 yrs of marriage (he kinda cracked when he turned 70 this year) and when I say left I mean left, gone to Canada. Not paying bills, not doing his job as a husband and taking care of his wife he's been gone since mid Oct. and to make matters worse for her she fell and broke her shoulder the last Saturday in Dec. (keep her in your prayers, her name is Susan.)

Brian: is pondering our housing situation. This house is still for sale, and the couple says that they won't take it off the market, and they are raising our rent if we stay in the house after our lease is up. So now we find ourselves looking at moving again no matter what happens. Which sucks sucks sucks. and we have looked around a bit and have found that there isn't much around here that is affordable most Rental agreements start at $1000 a month (NOT including utilities) and just about all the houses around here are 1800's era and heat off Fuel Oil! OUCH!!!

Ach, the screaming.
Ach, the boy containment issues.
Ach, the abdominal pain. (have you peed on a stick yet?)
Ach, the stupid spouses. (not you, B)
Ach, the housing. (what happened to that cute one on the cul-de-sac?)

Winter blows.

If you come down here, we have to hang out. The three of us should go do something.
You did a great job catching us up on the excitement at your house. I love the fact that Cameron's favorite color is the darkest one he's looking at. interesting.
